About the Role

This dynamic and engaging BHP SOC role provides the opportunity to leverage your experience in security and contribute to maintaining the safety and security of all personnel and assets. Based in Perth, you will be responsible for overseeing and operating advanced CCTV systems, ensuring the smooth monitoring of the BHP remote premises. As a Security Officer, you will deliver exceptional customer service through a proactive, professional, and detail-oriented approach. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and operating CCTV systems to ensure the security of the site
• Responding to security breaches and incidents, providing clear and concise reports
• Coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency services as needed
• Conducting regular site patrols to ensure all security protocols are followed
• Maintaining detailed logs and records of surveillance activities

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in security, particularly in CCTV monitoring and operations
• Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response, and reporting
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using security systems, cameras, and surveillance equipment
