About Direct Online Marketing (DOM)
Since our foundation in 2006, DOM has helped businesses grow through data-driven digital marketing campaigns. We emphasize a disciplined, transparent approach — and we won’t be out-communicated.
If you want to experience what it's like to work at a full-service digital marketing agency that does things a little differently than you’ve experienced in the past, we want to meet you!
As a Digital Analytics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients’ data is accurate, actionable, and aligned with their business goals. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to implement and troubleshoot conversion tracking, develop measurement strategies, and create reporting that turns complex data into clear insights.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be an integral part of DOM’s Analysis Department, helping ensure accurate data collection, reliable tracking, and meaningful reporting across a wide range of digital marketing campaigns.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Advanced Measurement & Conversion Tracking
- Implement and QA advanced conversion tracking, including Google Ads Enhanced Conversions (for leads).
- Protect attribution across user journeys (UTM persistence, cross-domain tracking, referral exclusions, funnel measurement).
- Align conversion definitions across GA4, ad platforms, and CRM outcomes.
Custom Tracking & Technical Troubleshooting
- Implement tracking for custom interactions and funnels (forms, calls, chat/booking flows, downloads, video, multi-step actions).
- Define/validate event requirements (and data layer specs when available) and implement in GTM using scalable naming conventions.
- Troubleshoot end-to-end using Tag Assistant, GA4 DebugView, and browser dev tools.
Reporting, Dashboards & Insights
- Build and maintain client-ready dashboards in Looker Studio (scorecards, KPI rollups, drilldowns, automated delivery).
- Translate stakeholder questions into reporting requirements (KPIs, targets, segments, consistent calculation logic).
- Deliver clear insights that explain “what happened / why / what’s next.”
SEO, GEO & PPC Enablement
- Partner with our SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and PPC teams to ensure measurement supports optimization and client goals.
- Support performance reporting for SEO and GEO initiatives (traffic quality, engagement, conversions, and visibility trends where measurable).
- Help define and maintain consistent channel definitions and reporting frameworks across service lines.
Consent, Privacy & Measurement
- Coordinate with client dev/CMP teams to ensure tracking is compliant and reliable under consent requirements.
- Communicate the impact of cookie opt-outs on measurement (directional trends vs. absolute totals).
Documentation, Governance & QA
- Maintain measurement plans, tracking documentation, and QA checklists.
- Establish standards for event naming, conversion definitions, and dashboard logic to keep reporting consistent and scalable.
AI-Enabled Analysis & Efficiency
- Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and documentation while validating outputs against source data.
Who You Are
You bring a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a desire to understand how data connects to business outcomes. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking questions, and digging into problems to find answers.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in an agency or larger marketing environment.
- Hands-on experience implementing conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying, manipulating, and presenting data.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing, audience segmentation, and digital platform auditing (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and presentation tools.
- Ability to identify data anomalies and troubleshoot tracking or reporting issues.
Additionally, You’ll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (strongly preferred).
- Basic understanding of PPC and SEO tactics and common KPIs.
- Ability to summarize complex analyses in clear, concise language.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn and adapt.
The following experiences are a plus:
- Foreign language skills.
- Offline conversion imports and CRM attribution workflows.
- Familiarity with Consent Mode concepts, server-side tagging, and call tracking/chat integrations.
- Experience using AI tools for analysis with strong judgment and validation.
