Role Overview
The Marketing AI Content SEO Analyst is responsible for leveraging artificial intelligence tools and data-driven insights to improve the performance, visibility, and engagement of marketing content across digital platforms. This role bridges marketing strategy, SEO, and AI analytics to ensure content is optimized for maximum reach, rankings, appointment conversion, and relevance.
The Analyst will execute our SEO agency's strategy, manage vendor relationships (including our link-building partner), and use AI tools (especially ChatGPT) to generate and optimize copy at scale. This is a numbers-driven role where output and results directly impact growth.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing & KPI Ownership
- Execute SEO strategy with a focus on hitting traffic, ranking, and lead/appointment goals.
- Monitor and report on SEO KPIs using Google Analytics, Search Console, and Looker Studio dashboards.
- Collaborate with the agency to refine strategies based on performance trends and competitive insights.
Content Creation & Optimization (Primary Focus, 70%)
- AI-Powered Production at Scale: Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to generate, edit, and refine high-quality content for landing pages, local service pages, blogs, and FAQs.
- Prompt Engineering: Develop, test, and optimize prompt templates that consistently produce brand-safe content engineered to both rank and convert (traffic → appointments).
- Automation & Systems: Build SOPs and streamlined workflows to systematize multi-page content production across markets and products.
- Conversion-Focused SEO: Apply keyword hierarchy (primary vs. secondary), compelling titles/meta descriptions, headers, CTAs, and CRO best practices to improve rankings, CTR, and conversion rate.
- On-Page Structure: Implement interlinking, schema (FAQ, LocalBusiness, Service), breadcrumbs, and metadata to strengthen topical authority, crawlability, and engagement.
- Performance Loop: Review GSC/GA/rank tracker data to refine prompts, copy, and structure for continuous KPI improvement.
SEO Implementation & Vendor Management
- Partner with our SEO agency for ongoing check-ins, progress reviews, and implementation of updated strategies.
- Manage the relationship with the link-building partner (no outreach writing): track deliverables, relevance, and authority alignment.
- Execute technical and on-page recommendations including robots.txt, internal linking, canonicals, XML sitemaps, crawlability fixes, and Core Web Vitals hygiene.
Analytics, Reporting & Tools
- Build and maintain dashboards to track rankings, traffic, conversions, and share of voice.
- Pull insights from competitive research, content gap analyses, and technical audits to inform execution.
- Provide clear, performance-focused updates to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- SEO Foundations: Keyword hierarchy, metadata, interlinking, crawlability/indexing, and Google algorithm basics.
- Performance Marketing Mindset: Thrives in KPI-driven environments; competitive and motivated by measurable results.
- AI/ChatGPT Proficiency: Skilled in using AI for content generation and prompt optimization; comfortable working at scale.
- Analytics Tools: Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console; experience with rank tracking.
- Vendor Collaboration: Experience coordinating with external vendors or agencies; organized and accountable.
- Technical Awareness: Understanding of site architecture, Core Web Vitals, domain authority, and schema.
- Platform: Able to publish and QA content in WordPress.
- Attributes: Intellectually curious, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, strong writing and editing.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Writing, or related field.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred, Not Required)
- Local SEO: Google Business Profiles, citations, and map pack optimization.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
- Lead generation or appointment-driven campaign experience.
- Basic HTML/CSS or web editing experience.
- Previous internship or entry-level role in digital marketing.
