About Bold.org

With a mission of Fighting Student Debt, Bold.org is the fastest-growing student fintech platform in the United States. We're a team of dozens serving millions of students, with trillions in student debt at stake.

We operate at the intersection of fintech, education, philanthropy, and payments, building products that meaningfully expand access to education. We are relentlessly focused on profitability, long-term retention, and building systems that scale sustainably. If that resonates, we'd love to meet you.

Position Description

We're hiring a Product Manager, Growth & SEO to own the strategy and execution for growing qualified organic traffic, improving signup conversion before email verification, and maximizing the performance of our group and partnerships landing pages — the earliest and highest-leverage moments in our funnel.

This is not a traditional PM role and not a pure content SEO role. It is a hybrid product-growth-SEO role. You will own the systems, experiments, and outcomes that determine how students discover Bold.org, whether they complete signup, and how our partnership pages monetize. You'll build scalable landing page systems, architect our blog and content engine, run high-velocity A/B tests, and obsess over the mechanics of compounding organic growth.

You'll report to our SVP of Operations, on the same team as a Senior Product Manager, and work side-by-side with a Head of Design to form hypotheses, build tests, and ship improvements weekly. You'll also collaborate closely with engineering and data to build the infrastructure that makes experimentation fast and measurement reliable.

This is a high-impact IC role with full ownership of top-of-funnel growth — responsible for building the systems that bring millions of students to Bold.org and convert them into members, while maximizing the searchability, real estate, and revenue performance of our partnership landing pages.

What You'll Own

  • Qualified organic traffic. This is the primary way you measure your SEO work and prioritize effort.

  • Signup conversion before email verification. You own the funnel from first landing to email submitted — every page, every form, every step.

  • Partnership landing page performance. You own the searchability, page structure, and conversion optimization of partnership pages — maximizing their visibility and revenue contribution.

  • Landing page systems. Programmatic, scalable landing page architecture — not one-off pages, but systems that generate hundreds or thousands of high-performing pages mapped to search intent.

  • SEO systems and infrastructure. Internal linking architecture, information architecture, search intent mapping, and technical SEO. You build systems, not just strategies.

  • Blog system architecture and content engine. Own the blog as a product — its structure, its templates, its role in the funnel, and how content compounds over time.

  • A/B testing and experimentation. Design and run a high-velocity experiment pipeline across landing pages, signup flows, CTAs, and page structures. You measure everything.

  • Metrics and analytics. You build your own dashboards, define the metrics that matter, and report on what's working and what isn't. You are fluent in your numbers.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with the Head of Design, engineering, the UX/Brand Copywriter, and data to ship improvements weekly, not quarterly.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated success owning growth, SEO, or conversion optimization at a two-sided marketplace, EdTech platform, multi-brand website, or consumer FinTech company — ideally one with large-scale programmatic page systems and multiple distinct audience segments. You've moved real metrics, not just published content.

  • Deep fluency in SEO as a system — technical SEO, programmatic page generation, internal linking, search intent mapping, and information architecture. You think in compounding loops, not one-off keyword plays. Experience managing SEO across thousands of pages (scholarship listings, partner pages, blog content) is a strong signal.

  • Experience with multi-sided platforms or marketplaces where organic growth serves both supply and demand — you understand how page architecture, content strategy, and search intent differ across user types.

  • SQL + strong analytical instincts. You build your own dashboards, run your own queries, and generate models that guide real decisions.

  • Experience designing and running A/B tests and experiments at high velocity. You know how to structure tests, read results, and iterate fast.

  • Experience building or managing scalable landing page systems or content engines. You've thought about templates, dynamic pages, and content-at-scale — ideally in an environment where pages are generated programmatically, not hand-built.

  • Comfortable with AI tools, prompting, and automation. You use Claude, VS Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development and analysis tools as force multipliers in your daily work. You don't wait for someone to build you a tool; you build your own workflows.

  • Strong project management and leadership. You've driven high-impact initiatives end-to-end in async collaboration environments (we use Linear).

  • A builder's mindset. You are comfortable operating with ambiguity and creating from scratch.

  • A high-performing individual contributor who enjoys deep focus work and learning rapidly.

  • You are kind. You make the people around you better.
