Don Hattan Dealerships is seeking a technically skilled and content-savvy Search Marketing / SEO Analyst to lead the charge in improving our online visibility and driving qualified traffic to our websites. This role plays a key part in our digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on technical SEO, paid search management, and keyword-driven content creation that directly contributes to lead generation and sales performance.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO and PPC best practices, experience analyzing performance data, and the ability to write optimized web content that aligns with user search behavior. While the focus will be on SEO and paid search, this role may also support broader digital marketing efforts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement SEO Strategies:
Conduct in-depth keyword research, write and optimize on-site content (including landing pages and service descriptions), perform technical audits, and implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics to improve organic visibility across all dealership websites.
Manage and Optimize Paid Search Campaigns:
Plan, launch, and monitor PPC campaigns (e.g., Google Ads), including keyword selection, ad copywriting, bid adjustments, audience targeting, and A/B testing to maximize return on ad spend.
Technical Site Optimization:
Identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, and speed issues. Work with internal teams to ensure site architecture and HTML markup align with SEO best practices.
Content Development for SEO:
Write and edit keyword-rich, high-quality content aimed at capturing search traffic and improving user engagement. Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and SEO strategy.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs. Provide actionable insights and clear reports to stakeholders.
Stay Current with Industry Trends:
Keep up with evolving search engine algorithms, industry standards, and emerging digital tools to ensure the dealership remains competitive in search marketing.
Collaborate Across Departments:
Coordinate with web developers, marketing staff, and sales teams to align SEO and SEM efforts with overall business goals.
Contribute to Broader Digital Marketing Efforts:
Depending on expertise and business needs, support additional initiatives such as social media campaigns, event promotions, or website UX improvements.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in SEO and paid search campaign management
Advanced knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO techniques
Proficiency in tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create keyword-targeted, SEO-friendly content
Familiarity with HTML, website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and basic web development concepts
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required
Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
