The mission for the Senior SEO Manager role is to lead successful client SEO + GEO engagements and help define and improve our SEO + GEO strategy and best practices. In this role, you’ll own the SEO + GEO strategy for a book of our top clients, you’ll coach and support other SEO managers with their clients and best practices, and help build + optimize our internal processes for delivering exceptional SEO + GEO programs.
This role is primarily (75%+) individual contributor, and it is not necessary that this person is a people manager. However, for interested and qualified candidates, there is opportunity for 1-2 team members to report into this person in the near term, and a longer term opportunity to build a larger team, if that’s a goal and core competency of the candidate.

- Generate > 95% monthly revenue retention from your book of clients by:
- Driving successful organic marketing programs via best-in-class organic marketing strategies and execution
- Building strong working relationships with clients through execution against Goals/KPIs, clear and effective communication, and SEO thought leadership
- Train, coach and mentor SEO managers and analysts to become better SEOs
- Help develop and improve the SEO + GEO playbook and best practices for GMP.
- Help create and optimize SOPs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of our organic marketing programs
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience delivering revenue growth and business impact through SEO
- You’re a rigorous execution manager with a keen attention to detail, driving results with ownership while keeping key stakeholders accountable.
- Artful communicator: You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell stories that persuade others to take action
- Strong business acumen- understands the “bigger picture” of the clients business goals and shapes our organic marketing towards those goals.
- You have a growth mindset, and enjoy the continuous learning process of growth marketing
- Experience in SEO platforms like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and CRM platforms like HubSpot
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of AI and ability to improve and automate your work using AI tools
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into strategy and impact
