Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO and content strategy aimed at increasing revenue, traffic, and search engine rankings.
Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and optimise strategies.
Own the ranking position and organic traffic for your area, monitoring performance and creating action plans to address fluctuations and capitalise on updates.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve and implement SEO best practices for page templates, site architecture, and internal linking structure.
Stay up-to-date with Google updates and algorithm changes, adapting SEO guidelines and initiatives accordingly.
Continuously test and iterate on landing page templates, modules, and content to improve user experience and performance (e.g., CTR, rankings).
Closely monitor the traffic and revenue performance of content through monthly audits.
Analyse data related to ranking, visibility, traffic, and conversions to identify trends and growth opportunities.
Manage and maintain SEO processes, including internal linking and technical SEO, in partnership with Product and Engineering teams.
Contribute to SEO content plans for key marketing campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
Support the internal link-building strategy for content.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Manage a team of SEO professionals, including an SEO Executive and freelancers.
Take ownership of projects, tracking, monitoring, reporting progress, and delivering results.
Proven experience in SEO with a strong understanding of best practices for on-page, off-page (link building and other ranking signals), and technical SEO.
A track record of driving innovative approaches and initiatives in SEO strategies and tactics.
Target-oriented with experience in driving and being accountable for performance improvements.
Proficiency in relevant SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, SEOWind) and Google Analytics platforms.
Understanding of modern front-end markup, schema, and coding best practices for SEO (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate strategic roadmaps to senior stakeholders.
Effective project management skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders.
Technical SEO expertise, particularly within an agile environment.
Strong experience working with content teams and conducting content gap analysis.
Up-to-date knowledge of SEO developments, AI usage in SEO, and algorithmic changes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and an inquisitive mind.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
