Responsible for assisting in all aspects of the business's brand, including product positioning, marketing, education, social media, advertising, and creating a meaningful position for the brand and its personality to increase consumer awareness and business expansion in alignment with the brand strategy and business objectives.

Essential Job Duties

  • Build and maintain market presence, including marketing to customers, product selection, and assisting in messaging.
  • Brainstorm and help to develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns to achieve objectives. Partner with the design team and other internal teams to develop on-brand copy and creative assets.
  • Review and understand marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Create and implement digital ads, from creative and copy to management and optimization. Manage relationships with third-party vendors (collateral development, video production, creative design, etc.) for all customer (internal and external) work.
  • Help to acquire & create content and ensure all the brands’ key attributes are consistently and accurately reflected in all communication channels. Review marketing campaigns; evaluate creative content for print and digital media.
  • Assist with the execution and marketing of deliverables such as promotions, brochures, flyers, location signage, promotional materials, advertisements, handbooks, mailers, and presentations.
  • Work with Sales, Category Management, and Leadership to support their efforts creatively.
  • Assist with set-up of local and regional events, trade shows, open houses, and community events as needed to support retail store activities and customer engagement.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience required. Still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Marketing or a relevant field/area.

Preferred Requirements Β 

  • No Preferred Education required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Other data, design and software application(s) experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to departments or middle management.
  • Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.
  • Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment Β 

  • Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
  • Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
