DescriptionSome of what you will do:
Support SEO strategy implementation, focusing on planning, execution, reporting, and content creation for Staples and Staples Professional. Collaborate with the Senior SEO Manager, SEO team, and key stakeholders to boost organic search outcomes and achieve growth targets.
Specifically, You Will:
Campaign Support:
- Collaborate with the SEO team and site operations to achieve specific goals within deadlines, including planning, deliverable management, and SEO-centric copywriting.
Evergreen Growth:
- Work on long-term growth strategies with the SEO team, stakeholders, and technical teams to increase site traffic and functionality.
Strategic Approach:
- Employ data analysis from SEO tools for decision-making, track industry trends, and perform competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Desired Attributes:

Coordination
- Plan and execute SEO deliverables to support campaign and evergreen growth objectives
- Work with stakeholders within Site Experience and cross-functionally to support goals
- Project manage and track all SEO deliverables
- Extract insights from Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEM Rush and other SEO tools
- Support measurement and dashboard reporting processes
- Provide accurate and timely status updates
Copywriting
- Work with SEO team members to identify copy requirements and enhancements
- Leverage tools to develop a keyword/topic-based approach to copywriting
- Build an understanding of keyword search volume and difficulty
- Work with other SEO team members to refine internal link building
- Understand how other e-commercial sites leverage product copy for SEO
- Develop a process for creating product FAQs
- Adhere to rigid copy deadlines
Some of what you need:
- University degree or college diploma.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizing skills.
- An analytics mindset.
- Written proficiency in French is an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience as a copywriter.
