As an SEO Copywriter, you’ll shape content that captures the brand voice and earns its visibility. Using research, strategy and smart AI prompting, you’ll craft search-optimised copy that attracts the right audience – turning intent into action.

Responsibilities

Research, rankings and results

  • Conduct research to ensure content is accurate, relevant and aligned to search intent
  • Create engaging, SEO-friendly copy across category pages, buying guides, campaigns and editorial articles
  • Develop SEO content briefs that include keyword targets, search intent, optimisation direction and internal linking opportunities
  • Optimise existing content to improve visibility, performance and competitive edge

Human-led AI

  • Use AI tools and prompt crafting to improve efficiency, ideation and output quality
  • Edit and refine AI-generated content with strong editorial judgement to ensure originality, specificity and brand alignment
  • Contribute to evolving best practice in AI-assisted content creation

Collaboration and delivery

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to strengthen content accuracy and depth
  • Partner with the Content Editor and SEO Team Lead to align with performance goals and editorial standards
  • Proofread and refine content from fellow writers
  • Upload approved content into CMS platforms and maintain a well-organised content database
  • Manage multiple briefs and meet production deadlines

Your experience and skills

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Content Writer, Producer or Copywriter
  • Degree in Communications, Journalism or similar, or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, search intent and on-page optimisation
  • Experience creating or contributing to SEO content briefs is highly regarded
  • Familiarity with AI content tools and prompt writing is desirable. We’ll provide training to help you sharpen this skill set
  • Ability to write persuasive, audience-focused copy that drives engagement and conversion
  • Exceptional editing and proofreading skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively
  • Experience using CMS platforms
