The SEO Specialist role
Be comfortable with hybrid working between office/home.Β
Undertake website analysis to make sure the structure, content, linking and other factors perform at an optimal level.
Develop and implement link building strategy
Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
Perform ongoing keyword research and review of keyword opportunities
Create SEO content to attract backlinks
Research
and analyse competitor activity, keywork research, and backlink audits
using SEMRush to identify trends, insights and improve our backlinking
and SEO performance
Identify and resolve any issues around SEO
Track and report backlinking progress

Requirements
Your ideal skills for SEO
2-3+ years of proven SEO experience, especially backlinking, in an environment of lead/sales generation
Strong spoken and written English skills
Solid understanding of digital marketing, conversion and customer acquisition
Proactive team member able to work autonomously and alongside team members
Experience of using a SEM tool such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc. We use SEMRush
Experience of content management systems and website analytics tools
Experience with A/B testing experiments
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Working knowledge of coding HTML, CSS and Javascript would be advantageous
Be a keen follower of the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
