SENIOR SEM/SEO SPECIALIST
Are you all about turning data into results? We’re looking for a Senior SEM/SEO Specialist who knows how to plan, build and optimize search campaigns that connect the right audiences with the right message at the right time.
In this role, you’ll use your deep understanding of search engine marketing and optimization to deliver high-performing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement and conversions. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients, balancing strategy and execution to make sure every campaign delivers measurable impact.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, execute and optimize paid search campaigns across Google, Bing and emerging ad platforms.
- Manage campaign budgets, pacing and performance reporting across assigned clients.
- Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation and ad copy development, leveraging AIO tools for smarter, data-driven insights.
- Perform SEO and web page audits to guide targeting, testing and content improvements using both manual and AI-assisted analysis.
- Measure and maintain website performance within search engines, integrating AI to identify optimization opportunities and automate reporting.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to implement AI-informed recommendations that enhance search visibility and conversion performance.
- Stay on top of evolving SEM, SEO and AIO tools, trends, and best practices to drive continuous innovation and efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on SEM/SEO experience — or a comparable mix of education and experience.
- A proven ability to turn search traffic into on-page conversions through strategic targeting and optimization.
- Current Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) certifications.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Jasper or custom automation workflows) to scale keyword research, ad creation and performance insights.
- Strong communication and organizational skills — and a proactive, analytical mindset with curiosity for emerging AIO technologies.
Location: Open to candidates based in Milwaukee and Chicago.
Salary Range: $60,000-75,000 annually
The provided salary range is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this hire. The actual salary offered will be influenced by candidate experience and other job and market-related factors.
