Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Manager to join our dynamic digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and a proven track record in driving organic traffic growth. As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing our SEO strategies to enhance our online presence, attract high-quality traffic, and increase conversions for our villa product. You will also be intrigued by developments in AI search and keen to ensure that you stay informed of best practice as this field develops.


Working Partnerships: Digital and Brand Marketing team, Technology team, external agencies/bloggers/influencers etc.

 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals
  • Conduct regular keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimisation and expansion
  • Optimise on-page elements including meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking structures
  • Collaborate with the content team to produce, and write, high-quality, SEO-friendly content (including video content) and manage our blog content
  • Ensure content is aligned with the latest SEO best practices and tailored to our target audience
  • Ensure content is aligned with the latest GEO best practices and future strategy aligns with this developing field
  • Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor and improve site architecture, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall technical performance
  • Collaborate with the web development and UX team to implement technical SEO changes and enhancements
  • Conduct regular technical audits to ensure website health and compliance with search engine guidelines
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (Ahrefs and Conductor) to monitor performance
  • Track, evaluate, and report on key SEO metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices, adjusting strategies based on competitive insights and industry trends
  • Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings
  • Engage in outreach activities to build relationships with relevant influencers, bloggers, and industry partners
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
  • Deliver weekly and monthly website performance and channel ROI reporting
  • Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to align SEO and Paid Media strategies, ensuring optimal visibility and effectiveness



PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role in the luxury travel industry or a related field
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, algorithms, and best practices
  • Excellent Investigative skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to organise tasks and adjust priorities depending on changing workflows
  • Passion for travel and an understanding of the luxury travel market
  • Experience co-ordinating with external agencies on projects and campaigns to continually drive the best performance
  • Excellent Copywriting and CMS editing skills
  • Commercially focused, versatile with a can-do approach
  • Problem solving and willing to learn new technologies or skills
  • Able to demonstrate high level of numeracy with strong attention to detail – intermediary Excel skills are essential
  • A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to build strong relationships within the company and externally with our partners
  • Experience of using third party tools to investigate and interpret data and trends Google Search Console and experience using SEO Tools (Such as SEMrush, Ahrefs etc)
