Overview

We’re looking for an SEO/SEM Specialist to support our web presence with organic and paid media. The SEO/SEM Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing search strategies, equally focused on optimizing organic performance and managing paid search campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and overall digital growth. This role is perfect for someone with Technical SEO experience who enjoys contributing to cross-functional digital projects and eager to grow in Paid Search. You will play a critical role in collecting and analyzing data, improving site speed, crawlability, indexability, and search engine rankings, leading the execution of digital initiatives across websites, and supporting brands with paid search campaigns. This role sits within the Digital Marketing Team and works closely with the Editorial and DEV teams.



Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with technical audits in identifying performance issues and recommend improvements for better performance.
  • Analyze and recommend opportunities within current site architecture, internal linking, crawl budget efficiency, and URL structures to enhance crawlability and indexability.
  • Help identify and resolve issues with XML sitemaps, canonical tags, 404 issues and redirects.
  • Support editorial team with keyword research, content development, and AI-driven optimization to enhance content performance and audience engagement.
  • Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and emerging best practices in performance and technical SEO.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver digital initiatives, seamlessly integrating websites and marketing technology to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines, and issue tracking.
  • Monitor key metrics and help report on the progress and success of initiatives.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, Programmatic DSPs, and other digital channels.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement, conversions, and ROI.
  • Use performance data to optimize targeting, segmentation, and bidding strategies to maximize the effectiveness of paid media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align campaign strategies and ensure cross-functional alignment and support.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing reports and presentations to communicate campaign performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct A/B testing for various ad creatives, landing pages, and messaging to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage advertising budgets for assigned brands with the goal of maximizing ROI, ensuring efficiency of campaign spend, and meeting all campaign goals

     

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Computer Science, Web Development, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of SEO experience
  • Strong experience using tools such as Google Search Console, AHREFS, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of how search engines crawl, render, and index websites.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impact on SEO and performance.
  • Comfortable with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices, including targeting, budgeting, and campaign optimization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, coordination and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in Paid Search/ Paid Social, preferably with a focus on healthcare or medical-related industries.
- Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Programmatic DSPs.
- A proactive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to the overall success of the marketing team.
