Reporting into the Manager, SEO, as a Sr. Associate, SEO at Merkle | Cardinal Path, you will implement SEO strategies and recommendations to a world class clientele across multiple industries and industries.

We are looking for someone with advanced SEO knowledge and a high level of comfortability with the always evolving search landscape. You will be in a technical role that requires the ability to easily absorb and learn new concepts. 

You Will:

• Lead SEO team tasks to fulfill client audits and ongoing SEO monitoring.
• Manage a roster of clients using best practices for client and project management.
• Perform keyword research and analysis, demonstrate sound knowledge of topic and search intent modeling.
• Develop comprehensive internal and external link strategies.
• Communicate technical subjects and implement recommendations that follow white hat SEO best practices to clients. 
• Help build an industry-leading, search engine optimization team through the development and improvement of internal processes and deliverables.
• Keep up to date with latest industry trends, technology and changes; evaluate industry tools providing recommendations to our teams
• Partner with Digital Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Account Management teams to identify client opportunities across groups
• Share knowledge through contributions to Cardinal Path’s blog, internal lunch and learns and public events/webinars
• Mentor and train new employees

You Have:

• 5+ years search engine optimization experience.
• Experience with multiple clients in an agency or consultancy.
• A Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced technical knowledge of SEO methodologies and implementation including Core Web Vitals.
• Knowledge of the current search trends, main industry players, and the evolving search landscape.
• Experience managing project timelines
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console
• Exposure to, and comfort with a variety of CMS systems
• Coding experience JS, CSS and HTML as a base (a plus)
• Experience with competitive analysis, international search optimization, local search, search and social integration, and semantic search
• Expert level experience in on-page optimization
