Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex technical SEO audits and strategies to clients in a simple and clear way for clients to digest and understand.

  • Tailor your presentation skills based on the stakeholders you're presenting to and be able to pre-empt questions they may have 

  • Support the development and implementation of technical SEO strategies.

  • Prioritise and address SEO tasks to improve client website performance and search visibility.

  • Conduct site audits, highlighting areas for optimisation and implementing fixes.

  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting SEO.

  • Assist in implementing recommendations for page speed (Core Web Vitals), crawlability, and indexation.

  • Monitor and report on technical SEO performance, ensuring alignment with objectives.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing by staying informed on industry updates.

  • To be an ambassador of iCrossing UK and its values

  • You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time



Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has/is: 

 

  • Experience in technical SEO, with proven success in identifying issues and delivering recommendations.

  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively based on business impact.

  • Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawling, rendering, and site structure.

  • Experience of how JavaScript implementations can impact technical SEO 

  • Understanding of ongoing developments with LLM answer engines (e.g. ChatGPT, Google AI mode etc.) and how these are impacting search and technical SEO specifically.

  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Lumar, Ahrefs, Semrush etc.).

  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
